Five Commitments Five commitments of Tanizaki Coffee Village

We put five commitments into every cup of coffee.
It's our promise to deliver the best coffee experience to our customers.

ORGANIC CULTIVATION

Organic farming

We carefully cultivate coffee on plateaus around 1,500 meters above sea level, where the beans are nurtured by the significant temperature difference between day and night and mineral-rich red soil, all through organic farming methods that do not rely on pesticides or chemical fertilizers. By utilizing the unique environmental conditions of the land, we dedicate our time and effort from fostering healthy trees to ripening each individual bean, bringing out a pure flavor and gentle sweetness.

FAIR TRADE SPIRIT

Fair trade spirit

We deeply value the trusting relationships we've cultivated with our producers over many years. We believe our role goes beyond simply sourcing beans; it involves supporting the lives of farmers and investing in the next generation through fair pricing and consistent purchases of their harvests. We deliver every cup of coffee with the hope that it brings smiles to the faces of those working in coffee-producing regions in Vietnam.

Specialty Quality

Specialty quality

We primarily handle specialty Arabica beans evaluated by SCA standards and carefully selected fine Robusta beans. From cherry sorting, processing, and drying, to green bean quality control, primarily focusing on G1 grade, and the design of roasting profiles, we consistently check for "cup quality." That each cup clearly conveys the individual characteristics and transparent flavors of each Vietnamese origin is the specialty quality of Yosazuki Coffee Village.

HIGHLAND TERROIR

Diverse highland terroir

We cultivate coffee, leveraging the unique terroir of three plateaus in Vietnam's South Central region: Dalat, Bao Loc, and Di Linh. In Dalat, we grow artisanal Arabica with a fragrant aroma. In Bao Loc, we produce fine Robusta with a rich, bold body. Di Linh is home to both varieties, allowing you to enjoy a diverse range of flavors through blended or single-origin coffees.

MADE IN VIETNAM

Authentic, Made in Vietnam

To offer authentic Vietnamese coffee, we consistently handle everything from cultivation and processing to roasting and packaging within Vietnam. Instead of simply importing green beans and finishing them in Japan, by completing all processes, including product development, at the origin, we deliver authentic Vietnam, right down to the air within the package.
We also handle high-quality unroasted beans for wholesale. If you are interested in wholesale unroasted beans, please contact us via the CONTACT page.

Our Process From farm to your cup

From cultivation to roasting and delivery.
This is the journey of how a cup of coffee is made.

01

Cultivation

On plateaus above 1,000m in elevation
They are carefully nurtured

Cultivated with care on an elevated plateau at 1,500m, our coffee thrives in its unique environment, benefiting from significant diurnal temperature variations and mineral-rich red soil. Grown organically without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, we nurture healthy trees and the ripening of each bean, dedicating our time and effort to this slow, meticulous process.

02

Harvest

Only ripe fruit
Hand-picked

Only fully ripened fruits are carefully hand-picked one by one. The clean cup with less astringency is realized because the experience and skills of the skilled farm workers are reflected in each decision, from harvesting time to selection.

03

Refining and drying

In a traditional way
Carefully refined

Focusing on traditional natural processing, we slowly remove moisture through sun-drying. By carefully assessing the cherry condition and climate, we adjust agitation and drying times to suppress unpleasant fermentation-derived off-flavors while fully drawing out Vietnam's unique sweetness and aroma.

04

Roast

Bring out the individuality of the beans
Optimal Roasting

We carefully select G1 grade green coffee beans and design optimal roasting profiles while checking moisture content and bean density. By finely adjusting heat and time distribution, and finishing at the point where the balance of sweetness, acidity, and body is most beautifully expressed, we maximize the unique characteristics of each Vietnamese origin.

05

Delivery

Fresh to your home
We will deliver it.

All processes from roasting to packaging are carried out consistently within the same factory in Vietnam, ensuring the product is made without any loss of flavor. Through centralized management in Vietnam, we produce products for Japan while maintaining a quality befitting the "Made in Vietnam" label.

Coffee Origins Coffee producing regions

From three regions in Vietnam's Central Highlands,
We deliver coffee beans with unique personalities.

Da Lat

Dalat, a plateau city at an altitude of 1,600m, is a renowned Arabica cultivation area, known as the “Capital of Vietnamese Arabica.” With an average annual temperature of 14-23°C, it boasts a "perpetual spring" climate, cool and chilly in the mornings and evenings, and pleasantly warm during the day. This daily temperature fluctuation imbues the coffee with rich sweetness and aroma. The misty, cool air and fertile red soil nurture coffee beans with bright aromas reminiscent of citrus, berries, and flowers, as well as a transparent acidity and sweetness.

Bao Loc

Bao Loc, a highland city at an altitude of 900m, is known as a region for high-quality Robusta, leveraging its warm and humid climate. The average annual temperature is 20-24°C, and the temperature difference between cool mornings and evenings and slightly warmer days gives Robusta a mellow sweetness and strong body. It is characterized by a rich body and a bitter chocolate-like aftertaste, and its flavor pairs well with cafe au lait and traditional Vietnamese condensed milk coffee.

Di Linh

Diilin, a highland city at an altitude of 1,000 meters, has a long history of coffee cultivation and has recently gained attention in the specialty coffee scene. The annual average temperature is 22-24℃, with daily temperatures ranging from 13-33℃. This highland climate, with its significant temperature difference, cultivates coffee with a rich body and sweetness. Both robusta, with its strong body and cacao notes, and arabica, with its clean sweetness, are cultivated, and their potential is realized in a wide range of brewing styles, from espresso to filter coffee.
